Daken is a world class company specializing in the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke Passive Fire Protection Systems and Thermal Insulation. Our world class manufacturing facility is equipped to manufacture all passive fire protection products. All processes are automated to ensure rapid lead times, reduce waste materials, providing an optimized efficient service and reducing costs

Daken has developed a range of PFP products and solutions, all of which are fully tested and certified by Lloyds Register. All features that are required for the protection of CPCE such as corner joints, edge features, access doors, ventilation and drainage have been tested and are detailed in our Lloyds Register Type Approval certification:

Manufacturing Capabilities

We employ highly skilled engineers to design various products and has a dedicated permanent manufacture team, with options to bring in temporary staff as required. Our facility is over 4,400 square meters and includes various manufacturing departments and a warehouse to allow large contracts to be managed easily. Each manufacture department considers advanced manufacturing techniques using automated bespoke machinery that has been developed to improve quality and efficiency. The facility also includes a dedicated R&D department that includes our own UL1709 Test Furnace to allow further product development.

We hold BS EN ISO 9001 Quality Management, BS EN ISO 14001 Environmental, and BS EN ISO 45001 Health & Safety Management accreditation

Design

We utilize state of the art, 3D software to design our PFP solutions and the design can be completed from a survey, customer 3D models, or customer GA drawings. This ensures that the system is designed accurately to ensure a neat and rapid installation to any equipment no matter how complex.
